The internet is the world’s
communication channels and networks that combine hundreds of thousands of
holding another computer system. Therefore, this information highway will be
owned by all people in this world and no one is able to avoid it under the
concept of open sky.
In addition, the internet
also has advantages and disadvantages to the user. Between the advantages of
using the internet is to create a knowledge society. With the click of computer
keyboards only, all information, whether about science and technology, health,
geographical, political, social, and also what can be known easily. For a
student, they do not need to take a long time refers to the stack of books to
find information about an event, but they can find on the internet that takes
less than an hour. For business, the internet can help developing a business
venture. Operators can advertise services or goods in cyberspace, through the
services provided. In that case, if all people take advantage of the internet,
the government’s intention to make Malaysia a developed nation by 2020 will
become a reality.
Despite the existence of the
Internet brings great benefits to the public, but at the same time,
disadvantages may also arise. Irresponsible people took advantage of the human
passion to seek knowledge. Pornographic information, propaganda, and teachings
could be seen by users without restriction. Very difficult for us to prevent,
and restrict the use and flow of negative material from permeating our minds.
Teenagers who are not controlled by parents will be busy watching things that
are against our culture. Problem is, they are vulnerable to the negative
elements will not be satisfied if not see it in reality. This is the cause of
social problems occur among teenagers. Internet users seem to not care what is
happening in the outside world. For teenagers who are still studying, they will
be complacent and forget to study.
Indeed, internet certainly
affects a variety of colors, black and white. Wise they only know the
difference between the two colors on them and selecting white. But whatever the
reason, we should accept this technology as a means of accelerating the
development of the country. In line with the Prime Minister hopes to make
Malaysia a developed nation by 2020, there was no reason for us to reject this
technology. Only, parents should be concerned with the interests of children
and if the children are interested in surfing the Internet, parents should
supervise and monitor. Make no sense if Malaysia into a developed nation, in
the same time dry-spirited citizens, low morale, and see the world without any
sense!!
